Robert O'Toole will lead the Birds As Art Instructional Photo Tour primarily to photograph Coastal Brown Bear (Grizzly bear found on the coasts of AK) within a variety of natural habitats, including the green meadows of Hallo Bay pictured at the top of this page. Katmai National Park has one of the world's highest concentration of brown bears, so I can assure that you be able to get close proximity images of Coastal Brown Bears, some with cubs. With our small group and private access we will be able to comfortably photograph the bear's natural behavior without any pressure from crowds, camps, or facilities in a totally natural setting. This workshop will also include Photoshop, Lightroom, and the latest APTATS instruction.
Photograph Coastal Brown Bear within a variety of beautiful natural habitats (including the green meadows in the images above) including Hallo Bay. We will have a morning and afternoon photography session weather permitting, with plenty of time for group image review and discussion between sessions. This will also include Photoshop, Lightroom, and APTATS instruction each day.
